\As of 3 a.m. this morning, Friday, Sept. 27, all lanes of the AA Highway (KY 9) in Carter County at the KY 2-KY 7 intersection near Carter City have reopened.

Reroute, seek alternate routes until further notice

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (11 AM Sept. 26, 2019) – A propane tanker truck crash has blocked the AA Highway (KY 9) Grayson spur in Carter County at the KY 2-KY 7 intersection in the Carter City-Kehoe area. Motorists are advised to avoid the area, and seek alternate routes for an estimated eight to 12 hours or until further notice.

Substance abuse disorder, cancer, obesity, poverty and mental health are the most pressing health concerns in the Tri-State region according to the 2019 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital (OLBH) published the assessment on its website (BonSecours.com) after completing the report with community partners and the input of area residents to identify the region’s most pressing issues affecting health.
