Holler Down The Holler: September's Slam Session

With a tray of cookies and a promise of cold drinks, Holler Down The Holler poetry slam host Jeremy D. Wells went from Grayson Gallery & Art Center to the nearby city park Saturday in an effort to lure a few extra volunteer judges to score poets performances.

Jazzy Lykins took first place in the September competition to earn top prize of $50, with Maddie "Boots" Carpenter claiming second place and $30 and Lorie Zientara taking the $20 third place prize.
